Northern Vietnam and Ha Giang Loop Explorer

13 Day Tour, from £3230 per person

This 13-day journey through Northern Vietnam offers a rare opportunity to connect deeply with the region’s people, traditions, and landscapes. It is designed for travellers who value cultural encounters as much as scenery, with time spent in remote communities where daily life is still shaped by the land. The pace allows you to experience the mountains, valleys, and villages in a meaningful way, with every arrangement handled so you can focus entirely on the journey.

You will meet Thai weavers in Mai Chau, walk through markets alive with the colours and sounds of different ethnic groups, and share meals in family homes. The route through the Ha Giang Loop reveals limestone peaks, high passes, and villages rarely visited by outsiders, with chances to see traditional silver-making, hemp weaving, and music played on the Hmong bamboo khen. A boat trip along the Nho Que River and time in the highland communities of Sapa complete an itinerary that is as much about the people as the places - a close-up view of Vietnam’s cultural and natural richness.
