Check out vibrant murals and the internationally renowned Fotografiska Tallinn Photography Museum. The Balti Jaama Turg (Baltic Station Market). It is a packed full of different stalls and shops selling anything from food to vintage clothing and antiques. We really like browsing through the soviet kitsch on the antique stalls. (B)
Today pick up your car hire and start the road journey from Tallinn to Lääne County*. En route from Tallinn to Lääne County stop and discover the charming town of Haapsalu. Known for its stunning seaside promenade, grand bishop's castle and charming old wooden houses. Don't miss the chance to visit the Haapsalu Episcopal Castle, where you can immerse yourself in the town's fascinating history. Spend a leisurely morning at the cabin or set off to Tallinn Airport and stop off at Paldiski, a town with a fascinating military history. In the past, the town was a closed military base, off-limits to outsiders, during the Soviet era. Nowadays, visitors can wander around and discover the abandoned military buildings and tunnels that are still standing from that time, including a large submarine base. Alternatively, you could opt to visit Pakri Peninsula, situated just outside of Paldiski, which boasts a range of natural landmarks, such as limestone cliffs, sea caves, and forests. Hiking trails are also available in the area, providing breathtaking views of the picturesque coastline.
Continue to Tallinn Airport and drop car off before flight back to the UK.
