Known mainly for its Biblical history as the home of Joseph and Mary, Nazareth is a busy Arab city with the Basilica of the Annunciation set at its heart. The old city lies quiet now with few shops and stalls still open but the main roads thrive with shops and restaurants and it has become known for its cuisine.
