The Mekong River experiences constant fluctuations in water levels throughout the year, making every upper Mekong River cruise a pioneering and adaptable experience due to factors like floods, low water levels, and morning fog. The vessels are designed to navigate these changes, even in low water conditions. However, there are instances where planned operations may be unfeasible. We appreciate your understanding that the tour itinerary might be adjusted due to logistical complexities, with safety modifications based on weather, river conditions, or local authorities' orders. In such cases, transportation by slow boat and overnight hotel arrangements are provided. Our high flexibility and strong local partnerships allow us to organise alternative programs, even on short notice.
Please note that this journey is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or those reliant on CPAP machines. For more information about specific requirements, kindly contact us before booking.
