We suggest combining this itinerary with one of our group tours to South Korea.

Upon arrival, a private driver and guide will transfer you to the east side of the island for a quick lunch at a nearby local restaurant. The afternoon begins at Seongsan Ilchulbong, or Sunrise Peak, a volcanic crater and iconic filming location for the Korean drama When Life Gives You Tangerines. At the base, there may be the opportunity to watch a Haenyeo demonstration, witnessing these legendary women divers in action. The 40-minute climb to the crater’s summit reveals sweeping views of the coastline and Jeju’s volcanic terrain, with a rewarding descent on foot afterwards.
Next is the Jeju Haenyeo Museum, offering insights into the history and culture of these extraordinary divers and their traditions. The day concludes with a Haenyeo dinner, featuring fresh seafood prepared in the style of the island’s women divers, before transfer to the hotel for a restful evening. (L,D)

After breakfast, a private vehicle transfers guests to Geomun Oreum for a hike up one of Jeju’s volcanic cones. Begin with a visit to the Jeju World Natural Heritage Center, located across from the trailhead, to learn about the island’s volcanic origins and geological significance. The hike winds through dense forests and along crater rims, offering panoramic viewpoints over Jeju’s unique landscapes. Two trail options cater to different preferences: the Summit Course, 1.8 km in about an hour, or the longer 5.5 km Crater Course, taking roughly 2.5 hours. Both routes provide close encounters with Jeju’s oreums and peaceful immersion in the island’s forested terrain.
Lunch follows at a local restaurant before a visit to the 4.3 Peace Memorial Hall, a striking complex honouring the victims of the Jeju Uprising and encouraging reflection on history and human rights. The journey continues to Samseonghyeol Historical Site, said to be the birthplace of Jeju’s earliest inhabitants, offering a glimpse into the island’s myths and legends. The day ends at Dongmun Market, where fresh seafood, street food and local produce create a lively, sensory experience. Return to the hotel for a restful evening. (B,L)

After breakfast, travel to Jeju’s southern coast to visit Jeongbang Falls, one of the few waterfalls in Asia that flows directly into the sea. The cascade, framed by rugged cliffs and lush vegetation, offers a striking scene accompanied by the sound of crashing waves. Next, visit Yakcheonsa Temple, one of Jeju’s largest Buddhist temples. Nestled among forested hills, the temple provides a serene atmosphere and insight into local spiritual traditions. Continue to the Jusangjeolli Cliffs, where hexagonal basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic activity create a remarkable natural spectacle. Designated paths and viewing platforms allow for easy exploration and excellent photo opportunities. Lunch is a traditional barbecue at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, follow the coastline to Bomunsa Temple, a cliffside temple with panoramic sea views, and then to Sanbangsan Mountain Park, dominated by Jeju’s iconic volcanic peak. The day concludes with a visit to Sanbangsan Carbonated Hot Springs, known for its mineral-rich waters. Guests can enjoy the gender-separated indoor baths or swimwear-accessible outdoor pools, with guidance on local etiquette provided by the guide. Return to the hotel for the evening. (B,L)

After breakfast, the driver will collect you for the transfer to Jeju airport for your onward flight. (B)
