Jerash Holidays

Located north of Amman, Jerash is famous for its well-preserved Roman Ruins. The stunning architecture can be overwhelming so you have to pace yourself. Here you can wander freely along the impressive colonnaded main north-south street and marvel at the Hippodrome which used to host chariot races; the 13 metre-tall Hadrian's Arch and the even taller columns of the Temple of Zeus. 

Take a moment to contemplate the beauty of these ruins by sitting in the impressive Forum, which is surrounded by Ionic columns, and try to imagine that Jerash was once one of the wealthiest cities during the Roman Empire.
