Korça is southern Albania's intellectual centre and a town with a proud cultural heritage. If you are on an Albanian holiday here, you should take an evening stroll along its showcase pedestrian avenue, which connects the town's main square and its rebuilt Orthodox cathedral.
Of course, the highlight of a visit to Korca is the excellent Museum of Medieval Art. We love a city with a beer festival and the famous Korca Beer Festival established in 2007 attracts lots of visitors who enjoy five beer, music and fun-filled days.
