Sharqiyah Sands, also known as Wahiba Sands, is named after the Bani Wahiba tribe, who are Bedouins that still travel to the area during the summer months to gather dates. The highest dune in the area rises to 100 meters. The ochre-colored desert is home to several tented camps, and during sunset and sunrise, you can witness the different shades of colour. The nights are equally spectacular, as you will be sleeping under a blanket of a million stars.
