Northern Lights Ranch

Located in the Finnish far north, the luxurious Northern Lights Ranch is tucked away amongst the trees and snow far from any artificial light pollution, making it the perfect place from which to watch the northern lights each winter.

The 24 Sky View Cabins feature two walls of panoramic glass windows and a glass roof for spectacular skyward views of the inky dark star-studded skies and the aurora borealis, and over the surrounding pristine wilderness environment.

Each of the suites features classic sharp Scandinavian design, with luxurious touches such as motorised double beds to enhance comfort during northern lights viewings.

We love the Deluxe and Deluxe Plus cabins which have their own private outdoor hot tub – perfect for spotting the northern lights.

The restaurant here is superb, with great care and thought clearly put into both the design - modern but rustic, with a large log fire throwing out flickering light and a warm atmosphere - and the menu of northern Lappish delicacies.

The restaurant is also adjacent to the reindeer arena, so diners can watch the resort's reindeer herd each evening and even feed them - a 'must-do' to make lifelong memories when travelling as a family.
