Fly to Kittilä Airport in Finnish Lapland and transfer to Hotel Torassieppi located approximately 1 hour away in the village of Muonio. Collect warm winter clothing for the adventure ahead and check into your cabin. Dinner is served in the hotel restaurant. (D)
After breakfast walk to the reindeer farm to meet the the animals and their herder who will take you for a short reindeer sled ride. Afterwards, warm up around the fire in a traditional Lappish kota and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon there is some free time to relax and explore Torassieppi's Winter Village. This evening, learn more about the fascinating phenomenon of the northern lights before heading out into the night for a campfire. Toast a few marshmallows and enjoy a hot drink while you wait for the lights to make an appearance. (B,L,D)
After breakfast, your guide will take you to Torassieppi husky farm to meet the adorable huskies who will pull your sled on a 15 km safari through the stunning Lappish wilderness. The afternoon is free for you to relax before joining your guide in the kota for an early evening cooking class. Learn how to cook like a local over an open fire and enjoy the meal for dinner with a well-earned drink. After dinner retire to your very own Aurora Dome for a cosy night with the wood burning stove, panoramic views of the lake and, with a little luck, a phenomenal northern lights show. (B,L,D)
This morning is free for you to explore or to book an optional excursion. In the afternoon, join your guide for some local Lappish fun. Learn the most important wilderness skills in Lapland: how to build a fire in the snow, as well as how to make real Finnish coffee over it. You will also get to drill a hole in the ice and try your hand at ice fishing! After dinner, head out into the night for a horse drawn sleigh ride through the silent winter landscape. If you are lucky, the northern lights will light up the sky above you. (B,L,D)
After breakfast it is snowmobile time! your guide will provide a full briefing and safety demo before you head out on a 40 km safari to Harriniva Arctic Sled Dog Centre. Here, you'll have a guided tour of one of the largest husky farms in the world. Lunch will be at Harriniva Restaurant before returning to Torassieppi. The rest of the afternoon and evening will be free. (B,L,D)
This morning embark on a snowmobile walk through the stunning scenary of the Pallas Fell area before heading to Jeris Hotel for a hearty lunch and some relaxation at the Arctic Spa. Here you get the chance to swim in the ice pool and warm up in the most traditional sauna of all: the smoke sauna! This evening, after a short walk to a traditional kota, a warm fire awaits as you are greeted by a mystic shaman. A ceremony is held celebrating your time in the arctic circle drawing on the power of the local elements. (B,L,D)

After breakfast it is time to say goodbye to Lapland and transfer to Kittilä Airport for your flight home. (B)
