Located in a quiet area of the city next to the National Museum of Iceland, the highlights of downtown Reykjavík
are just a 20 minute walk or short bus ride away from the Saga.
With 235 rooms overlooking the city, sea or university, guests can expect modern furnishing with free wireless internet, mini bar and satellite television as standard. Choose from standard or their spacious superior rooms. Junior Suites feature maritime or Scandinavian design and include a spacious lounge area.
For a more casual dining opt for lunch or dinner in their cosy Restaurant Mimir, opened in November 2018. Being owned by the Icelandic Farmers Association the restaurant are really proud to offer the farm to the table. The hotel’s Super Breakfast Buffet is a great way to start the day - we love the fresh fruit bar.
We think the best thing about staying here is that our favourite swimming pool in Reykjavik Vesturbæjarlaug is less than a 10 minute walk away. It is open until 10pm so great for relaxing in a hot pot after a busy day sightseeing or their child friendly heated outdoor pool is a great and economic way to spend an afternoon with the family.
