Spitsbergen Light Winter Break

5 Day Tour, from £1785 per person

Travel high above the Arctic Circle on this incredible, 5-day winter adventure to Norway's remote archipelago, Svalbard. The idyllic setting of Longyearbyen, with its colourful buildings nestled in stark contrast against Spitsbergen's rugged mountains and icy plains, never fails to charm its visitors.

From February to April, as the sun begins to reappear over the horizon after months of polar night, but snow still blankets the ground, making this an ideal time to visit Svalbard for the perfect combination of bright blue skies and incredible arctic adventures like snowmobiling, dog sledding, and ice caving.

When darkness falls, if you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the northern lights dancing above the village.

This holiday is based at the Radisson Blu Poalr Hotel, but accommodation is also available at the atmospheric Coal Miners' Cabin or the luxurious Funken Lodge. Speak with your Regent Svalbard specialist about what hotel is right for you
