All the hotels were very good and the tour guide and driver were excellent. They made a good team and nothing was too much trouble.

Iceland Short Breaks
Just a three hour flight from the UK, taking a short break in Iceland is to be transported into another world of Tolkienesque proportions, where vast craggy landscapes are interrupted by towering volcanoes, crashing waterfalls, bursting geysers and ancient glaciers.
For a romantic getaway, choose a short break at one of Iceland’s wilderness retreats. With stunning, secluded settings, each property offers the opportunity to discover South Iceland’s most incredible scenic wonders to look out for the northern lights in the dark winter skies, or to simply relax in an outdoor hot tub surrounded by rushing rivers and majestic mountains. Alternatively, a Reykjavík base offers a less remote short break, where the southern landscapes are waiting to be explored on a variety of day tours. Embark on excursions to the breathtaking Golden Circle or the spectacular south shore before returning to the compact capital to perhaps eat out at one of the fashionable restaurants of 101 Reykjavík or to try a warming shot of Brennivín at one of the lively bars of Laugavegur Street.
