On arrival, transfer to the hotel in Kirkenes. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

After breakfast and a free morning, make your way to the port to board your Havila ship. Once on board, take time to settle in and explore your surroundings. Large panoramic windows throughout the ship offer uninterrupted views of the Arctic landscape as it unfolds around you. You may wish to make use of the well-equipped gym on Deck 7, or unwind with a dip in one of the jacuzzis on Deck 8, followed by a visit to the sauna. In the evening, enjoy dinner at Havrand restaurant. (B,L,D)

As you sail west, the polar landscape begins to shift, with vast open expanses giving way to steep, dramatic peaks. By evening, you arrive into Tromsø. Here, you may wish to take a stroll through the city and experience its lively atmosphere, earning it the nickname “Paris of the North”. (B,L,D)

The ship sails through Raftsundet and into the magical Trollfjord, where you experience the majestic fjord in complete silence and with zero emissions as the ship switches to battery power. The voyage continues south to Svolvaer, where you disembark in the early evening. From the quay, it is just a short walk to the Thon Hotel Svolvaer, the base for your stay in Lofoten. (B,L)

During your stay in Svolvær, you have the freedom to explore the Lofoten Islands at your own pace. You may choose to follow a full programme of activities or simply take time to enjoy the natural surroundings, local culture and relaxed atmosphere. Svolvær is an ideal base for discovering the region, with easy access to coastal scenery, galleries and traditional fishing heritage. We recommend visiting Henningsvær, one of Lofoten’s most distinctive villages, known for its striking setting, small art galleries and inviting cafés. The next Havila ship arrives at the quay in Svolvær at 18:30. After boarding and checking in, make your way to your cabin before the ship sets sail towards Stamsund. In the evening, enjoy a three-course dinner in the Havrand restaurant as the dramatic coastal scenery of northern Norway drifts past the panoramic windows. (B,L,D)

The ship has now travelled far enough south to cross the Arctic Circle. Despite this, the northern lights remain visible during winter, while in summer the nights never become completely dark, as the boat sails along the Helgeland coast, navigating through a maze of islands, islets, and skerries. One of the highlights is Torghatten mountain, known for its striking natural hole that passes straight through the rock. You have the option to join an excursion, hike up the mountain, and walk through this unique geological feature, experiencing both the landscape and views firsthand. (B,L,D)

Today you wake up in Trondheim and dock for a few hours before continuing onwards to Molde. (B,L,D)

The last day of the voyage takes you through a diverse coastal landscape of bare rocky mountains and a maze of sounds and waterways between many islands. The great fjords and glaciers are situated inland. Bergen awaits at the end of the voyage. Transfer to your hotel in Bergen.We recommend a stroll through Bryggen, Bergen's atmospheric Hanseatic old town located on the harbour front, where you can also find some of the freshest seafood around at the Torget Fish Market. There are plenty of museums on offer, or escape the city on the funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the fjord-side city. (B)
