Set over three acres, Quinta do Espirito Santo is a traditional two-storey building within an 18th century restored property. Owned by local historian Dr Francisco Maduro-Dias, enjoy 3 days of learning about Azores history while staying in he and his wife's home. Enjoy awe inspiring views from the property which includes a manicured garden and an orchard with several fruit trees from Africa, Europe and America. Dr Francisco will guide a city tour and share historical stories and facts over dinner during your stay.

Arrive at the airport and collect hire car. Drive to the Quinta do Espirito Santo and meet your hosts, Dr Francisco Maduro-Dias and his wife. Check in for 2 nights.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour of Angra do Heroismo with Dr Francisco Maduro-Dias. Marvel at the architecture of this UNESCO world heritage city, including the Museum of Angra do Heroismo, the Gardens of the Duke of Terceira, the Old Square, City Hall, and the Palace Capitaes. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore or relax at your leisure.
This evening, enjoy dinner with your hosts at the Quinta do Espirito Santo. (B)
