This afternoon enjoy a half-day city tour. Explore colourful rural and urban lifestyles, eclectic designs and a touch of nature, along with fine traditional arts and crafts.Visit Kuala Lumpur Tower, one of the tallest freestanding towers in the world, and get a magnificent view of the lush Klang Valley that surrounds the city. Continue to the Royal Museum, which until 2011 was the residence of Malaysia's king and take a drive through Chinatown, in the oldest part of the city. Visit the Jamek Mosque, the oldest mosque in the city, and see the site where the Malaysian flag was first raised after independence was declared. The area around the square boasts unique colonial-era landmarks, such as the Sultan Abdul Samad building, the Royal Selangor Club and St Mary's Cathedral.Explore Embassy Row to see the residences of ambassadors and highly desirable private properties such as the Sharif Ali Palace. Finally, admire the face of modern Kuala Lumpur with a stop in the city centre, set off by the stainless steel and glass skyscrapers of the Petronas Twin Towers. (B)
