Norway's famous fjords come alive during the summer months. Geirangerfjord is renowned for being the most beautiful fjord in the world. Norway’s King of the Fjords, the Sognefjord is Norway’s largest and one of the most stunning, and the gentler slopes of the Hardangerfjord provides a beautiful contrast between the turquoise waters and the sloping fruit fields and orchards. 

Norway’s two largest cities, Oslo and Bergen are excellent places to start a fly drive or scenic rail holiday and offer vibrant city life, while southerly Stavanger is an excellent choice for a city break to the magical Lysefjord which boasts some of Norway’s most famous hiking trails.

For intrepid travellers, the remote island of Spitsbergen provides adventure of epic proportion; situated half way between the northern tip of mainland Norway and the North Pole, the winter months are illuminated only by the northern lights as the sun sits below the horizon for 24 hours, while in the summer the sun rises and never sets allowing visitors to bask in the Arctic under the midnight sun.
